A chance to join a market leading contractor and work closely with one of their Senior Quantity Surveyors.

This contractor specialises in complex engineering projects in the heart of the capital. Cut & Carve, deep basements, complex temporary works, construction works largely on landmark schemes in London zone one.

They’ve had an extremely successful time recently; turnover is set to nearly double this coming year. Due to the challenges faced with construction projects in central London, contractors who can innovate with cutting edge methodology are winning the best projects. Schemes in areas such as Leicester Square, Mayfair and Oxford Street have unique challenges – re-use of existing buildings and the ability to create space with four or five level basements is the norm. But not everyone has the capability to actually take these projects on…

Due to all this growth, naturally teams need to grow and expand. This role would suit a recent graduate (maybe with two or three years experience post degree) working for a construction or civil engineering contractor as an Assistant QS (in London ideally but definitely the UK). You don’t need to have this specific experience but you do need to be willing to learn. You also need to be very career driven, looking to put down roots with a leading contractor. You’ll be encouraged to develop your career with very clear routes for promotion.
