I’m representing a top tier civil engineering contractor seeking an exceptional Project Director to lead the delivery of a flagship £100m+ infrastructure scheme in the South West.

This is the number one leadership role on the project, giving you full responsibility for its successful delivery from mobilisation through to completion. Reporting directly to the Contracts Director, you’ll lead every aspect of the project while building lasting client relationships and steering a large multidisciplinary team through one of the region’s most significant civil engineering schemes.

This opportunity is about far more than programme, budget and delivery. You’ll operate at the highest level of the business, influencing key stakeholders, managing a politically sensitive environment and leaving a lasting legacy on a landmark project that will be recognised across the industry.

What we’re looking for

You’ll already have a proven track record of leading the successful delivery of major civil engineering or infrastructure projects valued at £100m+ and be comfortable operating in a client-facing leadership position.

You’ll also bring:

• Significant experience delivering complex heavy civil engineering projects.
• A background with a Tier 1 contractor or an established Tier 2 specialist.
• Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to build, inspire and lead high-performing project teams.
• Commercial awareness and the confidence to make strategic decisions on large-scale projects.
