This European market leading specialist contractor takes on major projects across the UK and Europe. Their core business is decommisioning/deconstructing power stations, chemical plants, industrial plants and major remediation schemes.

Due to impending retirement, they’re looking to appoint an Associate Director to head up their design team. This role is pivotal to their continued growth and you’ll play a major part in the critical design elements of explosives engineering and traditional deconstruction.

Brief overview:

• To oversee the design of pre-weakening to (predominantly) structural steel and (not too frequently) concrete for collapsing significant structures with the use of Explosives (the role is a combination of being hands-on and leading a design team)
• To design other temporary and permanent works requirements.
• Experience using Autodesk AEC: Robot Structural Analysis, AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD Pro: Structural Analysis and Design Software and TEDDS
• Based in the SE London head office with a hybrid set-up an option
• Salary range to £100k + package depending on experience within this or similar sectors
• Must be MIStructE
