• Contracts Manager – London & Home Counties
• £350 to £370 p/d + expenses/travel

I’m looking for a Contracts Manager to join this rapidly growing enabling works contractor and take the lead on their projects across London and the Home Counties. This will complete the contracts team (there’s another contracts manager in place for projects further north) and you’ll work closely with the directors as the business continues to grow – you’ll be joining at a time of sustained growth, with most of their 2026 pipeline already confirmed. You’ll be involved from tender stage right through to completion, being the go-to person for making sure everything runs smoothly and securely from a contractual and commercial perspective.

What you’ll be up to:

• Managing/overseeing direct labour and subcontractors
• Making sure works are compliant with legal, regulatory and clients’ requirements
• Spotting risks early and finding practical solutions to manage them
• Keeping projects on track by resolving issues before they become problems
• Supporting their project teams with clear, straightforward contractual guidance

What they’re looking for:

• Good knowledge of JCT, NEC, and other standard forms of contract
• Solid experience working on enabling works or similar early-stage construction projects (in London ideally)
• A strong communicator who can build positive relationships with clients in particular
• A confident problem solver, able to think on your feet and offer practical solutions/suggest variations
• Organised, detail-focused, and able to juggle multiple priorities
• An individual who’s OK to be on the road a fair bit travelling round projects

This is a key role that will put you at the heart of their projects, helping this contractor deliver safe, successful enabling works projects while building strong partnerships along the way.
