Opportunity to join a leading engineering contractor who specialise in complex projects in central London up to £70m in value. Typically these schemes will be self-delivered projects involving demolition, cut & carve, enabling works, basement construction and reinforced concrete works and based in logistically challenging central London locations.

You’ll join the site support services team, effectively ensuring every project is set up for mechanical, electrical and associated services. This role is pivotal in ensuring the temporary mechanical and electrical elements are accurately priced and that all commercial aspects of live projects are effectively managed, forecasted, and communicated to project leaders and directors.

Overview of responsibilities:

Tendering & Estimating

• Support tendering activities for new works in collaboration with the Pre-Construction team.
• Review and interpret design drawings, scope specifications, and technical documentation.
• Benchmark proposed solutions and costs against existing project data.
• Prepare clear and accurate scope documents for tender submissions.
• Liaise with subcontractors to obtain quotations and clarify scope requirements.
• Contribute to bid submissions, providing commercial and technical input.
• Identify project Risks & Opportunities and support risk mitigation planning.

Commercial Management

• Manage the commercial aspects of all M&E works across all projects
• Administer variations and maintain oversight of change control processes.
• Track project costs and maintain accurate weekly and monthly forecasts.
• Work with Operations Leaders to ensure commercial alignment and cost control.

 Procurement

• Manage procurement activities for M&E subcontractors, coordinating with the Temporary Site Services Operations Lead to ensure performance and ensure scope coverage.
