Senior Project Engineer | London W1 | £25m Enabling works/RC Frame | £400 to £425 p/d

A leading specialist contractor is looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join a major £25m scheme in the heart of the West End.

This is a genuine opportunity to take ownership. Working closely with the Project Manager, you’ll have a hands-on role across the project, helping drive engineering delivery, resolve challenges on site and keep a complex structural redevelopment moving.

Opportunity

You’ll play a key role in the successful delivery of a complex £25m project, with responsibility across both engineering and site activities.

You’ll be involved in:

• Supporting the delivery
• Taking ownership of setting out and engineering activities
• Coordinating technical requirements with site operations
• Working closely with the Project Manager and wider delivery team
• Identifying and resolving engineering and construction challenges
• Coordinating multiple areas of the project and ensuring works progress efficiently
• Playing a visible, hands-on role in the day-to-day delivery of the project

What we’re after

We’re looking for an experienced Project Engineer who is confident working in a demanding London construction environment and enjoys being close to the delivery.

You’ll ideally have:

• A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years’ experience working as a Project Engineer
• Strong experience delivering projects in London
• Experience in demolition, cut & carve and/or substructure works is highly desirable
• Strong technical and problem-solving ability
• The confidence to take ownership and make decisions on site
• A genuine interest in building a long-term career with a busy specialist contractor
